On Tuesday, June 30, we will resume offering advance reservation-only access to the library for those on campus.
Off-campus visitors (including alumni and former faculty and staff) will not be able to use the service for the time being. Please see here for more information.

Please note that the service may be shortened or suspended depending on the extent of the outbreak.

Start date: June 30 ( Tue)
Hours of operation: [Part 1] 9:30 a.m. to 12:30 p.m.
[Part 2] 2:00 p.m. to 5:00 p.m.
*Two weekday replacement sessions (closed on weekends and holidays)

■Unavailable services

・Use of the Learning Commons (Tobata 1st floor, Iizuka 2nd floor), Group Study Rooms and AV Hall (Tobata 4th floor)
・Use of educational system computers
・Use of shared terminals (laptops, OPAC terminals, etc.)
・Off-campus visitors (including alumni and former faculty members)

■How to make a reservation

・Please log in with your Kyutech ID from User's Guide > Facility Reservation.
・Please select the date and time you wish to visit and make a reservation.
・Please make your reservation by 8:00 am on the day of the visit.
・Each hour is limited to 60 people in Tobata and 38 in Iizuka. We will not be able to make reservations for more than the number of people.
・To check the reservation status, please refer to "Facility Reservation and Confirmation" in My Library. (You will not be notified by email.)

※If you only want to return books, you do not need to make a reservation. Please put them in the return box located in front of the library.

■Requests to all users

・Please do not come to the library if you have a fever, cold, or other physical condition.
・Please be sure to wear a mask when you visit the library and keep your stay to a minimum.
・Please disinfect your hands and fingers before entering the library.
・The personal information recorded in the entry records may be provided to the university, health center, and other administrative agencies in the following cases.
 *Personal information recorded in the admission records will be managed appropriately by the library and will not be used for any purpose other than the above.
・Please do not forget to bring your student or staff ID card.
・The seats are spaced at regular intervals to prevent infection. Please cooperate with us in securing social distance.
・Please do not return materials directly to the shelves, but bring them to the counter when you leave the library.
・From 12:30 to 14:00, the library is closed for disinfection and preparation for replacement.

■Countermeasures for infectious diseases in the library

・Wearing masks for employees.
・Installation of vinyl curtains for counters
・Installation of turnstiles
・Ventilation in the building
・Installation of alcohol hand sanitizer
・Installed a UV sterilization box (Tobata)
・Disinfection of desks, chairs, doorknobs, etc. (twice a day)

Off-campus visitors

As a measure to prevent the spread of the new coronavirus, the library will restrict the use of the library for the time being.
Any changes will be announced on the library website.

・Lending of materials

 You will not be able to check out new books during the above period.
 The due date will be renewed until July 7.

・Returning materials

 Please return the books by dropping them directly into the return box located outside the library.
 Alternatively, you may return the books by mail (prepaid).

・Browsing in the library
 
 This service will be unavailable during the above period.
