Equipment Use [Tobata]

Facilities are available for study and research. Please see below for procedures.

Wi-Fi

Available in the reading rooms on each floor and in the AV Hall and Group Study Room. Kyutech-ID is required.

Equipment for rent

Electronic dictionaries (3) and Type-C chargers (4) are available. Please apply at the counter for borrowing.
This service is available only for those who belong to the university and can only be used inside the library on the same day.

1st floor: PCs for education and research (10 units)

Desktop PCs for the computer system for engineering professional education and research are available.
Please log on using your Kyutech-ID (university-wide integrated ID management system account).
You can use the Educational Information System (LiveCampus), etc.
Students affiliated with Tobata and faculty and staff of the entire university can use this system. For students in Life Science and Iizuka, please ask at the counter.

1st floor: Learning commons

Projector, screen, portable speakers, etc. are available.
Reservations can be made through the “Facility Reservation System” up to the day before use.

1st and 3rd floor: Large 60-inch TVs(1 each)

Up to 5 people can watch at the same time using headphones. BS/Blu-ray Disc available.

3rd floor: Individual booths (6 rooms, 7 seats)

It can be used for a wide range of purposes, including online interviews and online meetings for job hunting. Advance reservations are required.

【Reservation/Cancellation】
Reservations can be made from the day of the reservation to one week in advance.
Reservations can be made for up to 3.5 hours at a time. No extensions are allowed.
Number of reservations possible: limited to one per person.
(The next available reservation date will be the day after the date already reserved.)
Reservation change: If you wish to change the date and time of your reservation, please go to “Check Reservation Status” and follow the change procedure.
Cancellation: Cancellation before the appointment time is possible.
(We do not accept requests for same-day reservations by phone or e-mail. Please understand)

【Other】

Reservations cannot be made for dates that are already booked.

Please refrain from using the room without a reservation, as reservations are required.

【Precautions for use】

Please be punctual. Continued failure to be punctual may result in suspension of use.

If you have not used the room after 15 minutes, your reservation may be cancelled.

Please begin preparing to leave approximately 5 minutes before the end of your appointment.

It is not completely soundproof. Please use with moderation.

3rd floor: Language study corner (4 seats)

Please feel free to use headphones.
DVD/VHS/CD/BS viewing 1 unit.
DVD/Blu-ray/BS viewing 2 units.

2nd and 4th floor: Group study room

A projector and other equipment are available.
Please use it for classes, seminars, group study, etc. Reservations are required.
The group study rooms on the 4th floor are open during class periods when there are no reservations, so please use them for study.
Please make a reservation at least one day in advance from the “Facility Reservations” page.

4th floor: AV hall (79 seats)

A projector and other equipment are available.
Please use for lectures, special classes, etc. Reservations are required.
Please make a reservation from “Facility Reservations” at least one day prior to the day of use.
