【Important】 Opening in October and beyond

Opening hours and services will change from October as follows. You will be able to visit and use the library without making a reservation.
You can check out materials from your own library without reserving them. Interlibrary loan will continue to be available on the web as before.

Opening hours and services are subject to change as needed due to the spread of the new coronavirus infection.

Opening hours from October

■Open hours: Weekdays 8:30-20:00
       Saturday 11:00-19:00
       Sunday & Holidays Closed
 For details, see the library calendar.

■Target users: Kyutech students and faculty mambers only (including honorary professors and researchers)

■Available services: Browsing, borrowing and returning materials, study (use of seats), photocopying, etc.

■Unavailable services: Group Study Room (Tobata), Off-campus users
 If you are off campus, please see here.
 The seat reservation and reservation lending service will end.
 The photocopying service will continue.

■Request to all users
・If you have a fever or other cold symptoms within a week, even if you have no current symptoms, please do not come to the library.
・Please wear a mask when you come to the library and stay for a minimum amount of time.
・You are required to disinfect your hands before entering the library.
・The personal information recorded in the entry records may be provided to the university, health center, and other administrative agencies in the following cases.
 *In order to prevent the spread of the new coronavirus, we may provide information on entry to the university or health center if we confirm that a user of the library has been infected or has been in contact with someone who has been in contact with a high concentration of the virus.
・Please do not forget to bring your student/staff ID card.
・In the Learning Commons, conversations are permitted, but please wear a mask and keep your distance from others.
・The seats are spaced at regular intervals to prevent infection. Please cooperate with us in securing social distance.
・Please disinfect your seats and desks with alcohol-based disinfectant on each floor before you use them.
・The installation of the COCOA application is recommended.

Reservations for the AV Hall, Tobata Main Building

■Reservation is possible from Thursday, October 1

■Only people on campus are allowed to use this service.
 Please make a reservation through the normal facility reservation system.

■Request to the organizer
・If you have a fever or other symptoms of a cold within about a week, please do not attend the meeting, even on the day of the meeting.
・Please submit a list of attendees to the Library Services staff before the day of the event.
・A clear panel will be set up to prevent infection. If you wish to speak with a lecturer without a mask, please do so inside the panel.
・Please be sure to wear a mask when you visit the library and leave the library as soon as possible afterwards.
・The number of visitors is limited to 24 due to the space between the seats to prevent triple occupancy.
・Please open the windows for ventilation purposes.
・Please use the disinfection sheet when you share the microphone.

Off-campus users

As a measure to prevent the spread of the new coronavirus, the library will restrict the use of the library for the time being.
Any changes will be announced on the library website.


・Lending of materials

 You will not be able to check out new books during the above period.

・Returning materials

 Please return the books by dropping them directly into the return box located outside the library.
 Alternatively, you may return the books by mail (prepaid).

・Browsing in the library
 This service will be unavailable during the above period.
